As an entrepreneur, wife, and mom of 9, Lisa’s an expert on how to integrate Keto into her busy lifestyle. On and off Keto for almost 2 years, she’s already lost 100lbs on her journey! Her motivation? “I love inspiring others and showing them it can be done. Also, getting stronger and being able to keep up with my children is a huge motivator.” Passionate, engaging, and driven to “build more muscle and always improve,” Lisa’s the Keto’er you need on your Instagram feed ASAP 🙂 In the meantime, grab your favorite Keto beverage and read on . . .

I have struggled with my weight pretty much my whole adult life. I was always happy on the outside but felt trapped by my own body. After I had my 8th baby, I decided that was it. I was either going to be happy and fat, or — for once and for all — do something about my health and weight.

The short answer of why I chose Keto over other diets? Carbs! I was having success with other diets but was still bloated and addicted to carbs. I realized if I was really going to achieve my goals, I needed to really change my nutrition and Keto has been the perfect fit. I started by joining some Facebook groups, researching online, and committing to strict Keto for 30 days. I actually ended up pregnant (surprise) and have since gone back to Keto after my 9th baby.

In my day-to-day life today, I’ve incorporated intermittent fasting and try to do 18:6. I eat a late lunch, have dinner with the family, and keep things pretty simple. Where I live, our grocery store has limited Keto options, so Keto Krate is a wonderful opportunity for me to get to try tons of different Keto snacks. The Ketofit bar is my favorite, and KNOW Cookie, Ultima electrolytes, and Sweet Cheat are some of the best.

For someone who is just starting out with Keto, my advice is to do your research and give yourself and your body time to adjust to the new lifestyle. You don’t have to be perfect, and don’t say “you can’t” have something. Be kind to yourself, do it for yourself, and get your electrolytes in!
