    Lisa of @happyhealthymom73 was originally featured as our August 2019 Krate.Club Success Story and WOW does she have updates for us! It’s only 7 months later, and Lisa’s hit her ultimate goal weight, feels better than ever, and is training for her first powerlifting competition! If you’ve been feeling off track, this 46-year-old Mom of 9 is sure to inspire you to get back to accomplishing your goals — so read on, and prepare to be motivated: 

    I am so excited to share more of my transformation, which has continued to progress with the Keto lifestyle. Since being featured as the August 2019 Krate.Club Success Story, a lot has changed. At that time, I had lost 100 lbs, was running with some light weightlifting, and of course, was following the Keto diet.

    In December, I hit my ultimate weight loss goal: I lost a total of 135lbs. For someone that has struggled their whole lives with weight, this was definitely a huge moment for me. 

    I always liked lifting weights and on January 1, I decided it was time to really step it up. I now primarily only lift heavy weights, bench press, squat and deadlift 3 to 4 times a week, and I have a goal to compete in a powerlifting competition within the next year or so.

    I know there are a lot of people that don’t believe you can build muscle and strength without all the carbs, but I am here to show you that you most certainly can. I have been more focused on my protein intake but still keep my carbs around 20 net grams. As long as you are fueling your body with real, whole foods and not garbage, there is no limit to what you can do.

    On that note, I knew that the Keto lifestyle really was that — a lifestyle and not a temporary diet. I have honestly never felt better inside and out! And I am still the biggest fan of the KetoKrate subscription boxes. I honestly look forward to them each month. It is such a great way to try new, healthy Keto and low-carb food, snacks, and drinks that you maybe never heard of before. Our grocery store has limited Keto food, so KetoKrate is a way I can try something new, and if I like a product, I’ll order more.

    To close, I am a 46-year-old Mom of 9 and training for my first powerlifting competition. I never thought that was a sentence I would write. Make big dreams and don’t be afraid to go after them.
